Tea cultivation in Nepal dates back to the mid-19th century, inspired by the tea gardens of neighboring Darjeeling. Over the decades, Nepali farmers developed their own identity by growing Orthodox tea—a traditional, handcrafted method that preserves the full flavor and natural essence of the leaves.

Our tea gardens are located in pristine regions such as Ilam, Panchthar, Dhankuta, and Taplejung, at elevations above 2,000 meters (6,500 ft). The high altitude, cool climate, and rich Himalayan soil produce slow-growing tea plants, which results in superior flavor, aroma, and antioxidant content.
